Energetic Herbal Medicine Workshop

Energetic Herbal Medicine is medicine that uses herbal extracts to move energy patterns. From Traditional Medicine perspectives, energy patterns are the cause of all diseases and happiness in the body and mind- creating disease when disturbed, and harmony and happiness when balanced.

We can shift these energy patterns in many ways- from the inside (how we think, and relate to our minds) and from the outside (new experiences, relationships and what we ingest- including herbs).

When we take herbs internally, we select plants that restore balance rather than amplify imbalance. This requires skill and understanding.

In this 6-hour Energetic Herbal Medicine Workshop, you will learn:

  • The principles of Humoral Medicine
  • The foundations of Medical Astrology
  • How to understand Plant Energetics
  • Historical and traditional uses of key plants
  • How to create your own energetic herbal formula

By the end of the day, you will leave with a 10ml bottle of your own personalised herbal medicine, crafted by you, for you.

Our workshops run once per season in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Our first Workshop takes place:

10am - 6pm (6hr workshop + 2hr lunch break) (Lunch not included)

📗 Is this beginner friendly?

📗Yes, this workshop teaches the principles of humoral medicine, medical astrology, energetic herbal medicine and medicine making. No prior experience is required.

🏷️ Is there a Student discount?

🏷️ Yes, if you are a student in college, university or with a private organisation, just send us a photograph of your student enrolment and we'll book you on as a student.

🎒 What do I need to bring?

🎒 To get the most of this workshop, you'll only need a notebook and a pen. Everything else including tincture bottles, plant extracts and measuring equipment is provided.

For the meditation segments of this workshop, you may wish to bring a blanket, if desired. Meditation mats and cushions will be provided.

🍽️ No, the fee covers the workshop only.

🌿 No. Herbal extracts are provided.

♿ No. Unfortunately, there is no disability access to this venue. The Studio is up two flights of stairs, on the top floor.

A 5 minute walk from St Annes Train Station

A 3 minute walk from the no. 11, 11a and 68 bus stop on St. Annes Road East.

There is limited parking at the venue.

❌ Yes, you can cancel your booking 48hrs before the event, for a 100% credit note towards another workshop, to be used within 30 days of the first booking. All bookings are non-refundable.

🧘🏼 Do I have to bring my own cushion?

🧘🏼No, Sit and Smile mediation mats and cushions will be provided. But please bring a blanket is desired.
