Refunds & Returns

Returns

All physical items are tracked.

All items are carefully inspected and video-recorded before dispatch to ensure quality.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN (you must meet all the criteria below):

  1. All returns claims must be made within 14 days of receiving your item.
  2. All returned items must be received by Sit and Smile within 14 days after you made your claim.

Eligible Items:

Items must meet all the criteria below to be eligible for a return, or exchange. All items must be:

  1. Unused
  2. Unwashed
  3. In original packaging
  4. Tags intact
  5. If damaged: Any fault to the item must be reported to Sit and Smile, within 48hrs of receiving the item, with video proof of the item fault.

Ineligible Items:

If your item fits any one of the criteria below, it is ineligible for a return, refund, or exchange. Ineligible items are:

  1. Used
  2. Washed/Altered
  3. Not in original packaging
  4. Tags removed
  5. Medicine
  6. If damaged: Reported outside 48-hour reporting window, or without clear video evidence of damage within that timeframe.

Refunds

If your claim is eligible and your item is eligible, you will receive a refund within 7 working days of us receiving and inspecting your returned item.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available only for eligible items returned within the statutory 14-day period and are subject to stock availability.

Return Shipping

Unless the product is confirmed faulty or damaged on arrival, customers are responsible for return postage and ensuring items are packaged securely.

UK Shipping

UK only shipping at this time.
Orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days. Delivery typically takes 2–4 working days after dispatch.

Cancellation Policy

Herbal Consultations:

  • Follow-ups: Give 48hrs' notice of your cancellation for a 100% refund.
  • Initial consultations: Give 48hrs' notice of your cancellation for 50% refund. The other 50% is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

Meditation & Group Classes:

  • All Classes are non-refundable.
  • One Exchange: You may transfer your booking to another date or class once, to be used within 28 days of the original booking. After which a new booking will have to be made.

Privacy

We collect only the data needed to deliver our services to you and never share or sell your information. Communication preferences can be updated at any time.

Data Protection & Research

Client records, including medical history, are stored securely and retained for 7 years in line with UK GDPR and professional practice guidelines.

Clients may choose whether their data is:

  • Anonymised (all identifiers removed)
  • Pseudonymised (name replaced with a code)
  • Identifiable (name and details intact)

This choice will be respected in any use of data for internal case studies, education, or research. You may request to view or update your preferences at any time.
